Congrats Isabel Craine, a proud Titan and student body president. Isabel plans to study the social sciences at the University of Virginia, thanks to a Posse Foundation scholarship.

Christopher Cabrera

Let’s celebrate Christopher Cabrera, the first male in his family to be college bound. Matching with Bucknell University through the Posse Foundation, he plans to study civil engineering and management, thanks to a leadership scholarship. Aiming to be a lead civil engineer, Christopher wants to manage large construction projects

Gaetanina Verhoeven

Congrats Gaetanina Verhoeven, who has big plans for the future, heading to Virginia Tech to major in statistics and do all the prerequisites for nursing school.

Mohammad Elyas Noorzai

Congratulations Mohammad Elyas Noorzai, majoring in computer science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison as a Posse Scholar and Amazon Future Engineers scholarship/internship recipient. Future plans include his own tech startup.

Natasha Yoo

Congratulations Natasha Yoo! Awarded a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship, will be attending John Martinson Honors College at Purdue University—majoring in animal science.

Douglas Flores Diaz

Let’s celebrate Douglas Flores Diaz. This Alexandria City High School graduate has sights set on becoming a firefighter.

Isabel Bermudez

Congrats Isabel Bermudez, attending Loyola University and majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track with a minor in Spanish. Isabel will also join the Loyola crew team as a coxswain. Isabel’s future plans include pursuing a career in Pediatric medicine and earning an MD or DO.

Jamar Cannon Jr.

Congrats Jamar Cannon Jr., committed to doing track and field at Virginia State University with plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Jamar is also aiming to take a big leap forward—making the Olympics in high jump!

Odalis Quijano Zelaya

Let’s celebrate Odalis Quijano Zelaya, enlisted in the Army National Guard with plans to attend Old Dominion University after Basic Training, majoring in criminal justice. Future plans include becoming an FBI agent and serving the community.

Atticus Pastewait

Let’s celebrate Atticus Pastewait, who is headed to the University of Maine and the UMaine Honors College to study Marine Science with a concentration in Marine Biology. Future plans include advocating for endangered marine species and educating others on the impacts of bottom trawling and overfishing through an artistic approach.

Darwin Flores Salazar

Congrats Darwin Flores Salazar who is off to Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in political science with an internship at the Virginia Department of Education. Passionate about public policy, Darwin wants to go on to write legislation that benefits the public.

Tyler Stone

Let’s celebrate Tyler Stone, heading to Harvard College, majoring in applied mathematics. Music as a minor—or through extracurricular activities—are also part of Tyler’s plan.

Christabel Ellis

Congrats Christabel Ellis, attending the University of Virginia and majoring in biology. Christabel’s sights are set on being an optometrist.
